I've just bought a server motherboard and two opteron 246's. I intended ro overclock the chips so I've also bought a swiftech watercooling setup but i read the excellent memory FAQ on here tonight and learned that registered ECC is a no-no for overclocking. Is this still the case (the FAQ is a couple of years old) and if so i would really appreciate a recommendation for 2Gb DDR400 registered ECC.
