Oh dear. Glad I quit before they made it easy then. Talk about cashing in.
you can transfer your character from horde > alliance soon

, where as currently you cant incase you spy or whatever

I tried that already with somebody else and it didn't work, apparently if you have TBC you can't do it.
What do you do in real life? Have a conversation and tell them to stay on topic? Its a bloody discussion!

Damn buisnesses that only think of money and **** off the core that got them there in the first place.

On release you could have opposing factions on the same server, they got rid of it because of griefing.

The charge for changing servers isn't all about making money, if they made it free then you'd just get people hopping servers non stop to get server first achievements or opening AQ etc.
It would be a nightmare, realms would just be in a permanent state of imbalance as you'd never know when an entire guild is going to switch just so they can get an achievement.
If you want to switch you should need a good reason, the charge reflects that and makes you think about it first.
The level of drama here is quite impressive...

It was gunna be part of 3.2 patch but got held back for some reason
It did get included in 3.2 - I rolled a lvl 1 alt to have a nose around IF (the rest of my chars are Horde obv). Suprisingly, there's no level 1 spam at all in trade chat by people rolling cross faction alts - I did think it would be horrific but either people haven't noticed or aren't really all that bothered.
That's my server anyway - Outland - some more keenly contested servers might be different.

That's wrong. I used a scroll a few months ago to give away all my stuff to guild mates and I've got a bunch of 80s.
I don't get why people are complaining about transfers from pve to pvp. There is no outdoor pvp beyond ganking, it's all done in battlegrounds now. It really makes no difference where you level, there's just less stress on a pve realm. The same goes for having horde and alliance on a pvp realm - it wasn't allowed to prevent people warning the other race of city raids. Even if anyone still cared about raiding IF/Org, players of both factions talk on vent anyway.
