Reinstalling win 7 on ssd

I have an ocz vertex 2 90gb ssd, now if i get a new mobo I guess I should do a fresh installation to get rid of all the minor bugs etc. Will I have to do anything special firmware wise? Or can I just plug in new mobo + other new components, boot the win 7 installation and just follow the wizard for a fresh installation?

Secure erase that ssd first if you plan to reinstall the os on it.

i made myself a usb boot drive and put hdderase on it, ive followed the instructions on the ocz forum but it doesnt recognise my ssd, any ideas what to do?

I used this method using Parted Magic, follow the instructions and you can't go wrong, did mine last week with no probs.
