Hi people,
Not very smart when it comes to computers but today my computer suddenly went blue loads of writing, restarted and now it won't load up properly trying to force me to insert disc to reboot etc etc, I accepted defeat that I'm going to need to reboot windows.
However, trying to do so has proven difficult for my lack of intelligence.
I got so far in the reboot process but comes to a standstill saying "windows cannot install to this disk as this disk is of a gpt partition" now I ain't got a clue what that means or how I bypass this, I've got a real copy of windows so why cannot I install something that was previously installed and working fine earlier?!
Plus my main concern is and I hope this has not happened that I don't lose data on my hard drive ie all my photos etc
Any help guidance would be great and hopefully in the format of someone who doesn't have a clue
Thanks
