My personal favourite. Kinda emphasis on the knight in shining armour.

I like that. Some electric or light blue would go well with that

Commie superman is the best

Am I alone in not seeing what the actual point in reinventing superman is?

Also, if those sketches are 2 days work I would seriously consider giving it up.

1 - THe point is I really enjoy drawing and just decided to do it for abit of fun.

Also, if those sketches are 2 days work I would seriously consider giving it up.
2 - If your ganna comment on my work like that then shut your mouth and don't bother posting, that really was a kick in the balls when I read that.
I have lots of extra sheets with sketches for symbols and poses and stuff. I just enjoy drawing, might not be the best but I sure as hell enjoy doing it.

Jesus some people do know how to spoil the fun

NEVER post on an internet forum and ask for only positive responses, it just won't happen. Common sense.
Quoted for truth. You're going to have to expect negative responses and just accept them if you post on a forum. Thought that would have been a bit obvious.

Nice drawings, certainly better than I could do. I'm quite good at drawing but only copying. I cannot reinvent stuff to save my life.

Etiher lack of imagination or just crap :p

yeah suppose I should exspect some critism, but its just really annoying when you try really hard and someone just comes and put's you down.

Been messingh about with it some more. Will post some more when I get the chance.

Just would like to know what you guys think?

You did ask what people think. If you only wanted people who thought it was good to reply then you should have said.

Didn't mean to put you down, that was the first thing I thought when I saw those pics.

If you enjoy doing them I would say keep going, just ignore the negative feedback. You're probably better than most who say they don't like them (me included)

ffs guys some of you should just shut up and keep your comments to yourselfs =/

He enjoys drawing things and felt like reinventing a superman and felt like sharing his work with a forum to show what he'd been up to. How about not slating the **** out of him and respecting that he enjoys drawing?

Well done mate keep at it, personally i think you should do different versions of him, e.g the camper version = pink, the evil version, the horny version etc :p

Some 30stone Men might like rubbing peanut butter on there nipples while dancng around cars ... because they felt like it .... BUT people can say negative things about him as its there view and there opinion. He should take the Good with the bad it doesnt mean people are disrepecting them.

Some of the comments are just pointless though. Telling him to give up drawing for instance based on TWO pictures he decided to upload.

Constructive criticism is fine but putting him down is not.

So what you're saying is if someone asks for your opinion, you should either lie if you don't like it, or not give your opinion at all?

If you can't take the opinions of people you don't even know about something as trivial as a few sketches, you're going to have serious problems throughout your life.

Nope, I thought exactly the same thing.

My advice would be to think up your own character. Your drawings are merely caricatures of the original Superman imo. And if I'm brutally honest (sorry), not good ones at that.

By creating your own character people can't make comparisons.

Don't give up though, keep at it and you'll inevitably get better ;)

na bit on the poor side, I used to really enjoy drawing robots in my younger years... I find people tend to be better at drawing some stuff.. I found people hard to draw for example

I find I'm good at drawing people but not scenery.

EDIT: Keep up the good wor R^t :D Have you mad any adjustments :)?

Good effort.

A little tip when designing a character a good rule of thumb to follow is that the size of the char should be 8 head lengths. Eg measure your chars head and use that measurement and go down 7 times from the bottom of the head thats where the feet should end.

That's what I meant. I wasn't saying I didn't see the point in him drawing at all. The Superman outfit is a very simple design, and a classic one beacause of this.

I just don't see how you can redisgn it whilst

A: Still keeping it simple

B: Creating something unique
