Relationship question

I know this forum is classified as a 'family forum' and the join age is ~13 but feel it may be a question that would come up (no pun intended!) with the family and 13 is approaching activity. I'll ask away, feel free to remove.

I have started seeing a girl who prefers sex with no condom, or just doesn't care. I have only slept with her once and did not finish inside her.

If she is on the pill (which hopefully she is) aren't they only 99% effective with perfect use? I don't like the idea of a 1% chance of a minime, but prefer bareback

Correct, pill is around 99% effective.

Condoms are only 98% effective though.

You're concerned that the pill might not be effective, but you slept with her anyway even though you don't know if she's on it?

I would suggest speaking with her and a GP about this.
