Reliability AND gaming ssd?

i think you can get by with a 60gb ssd for os install if you swap pagefile over to hdd and turn off s3,that will save you some gb space, but the 90gb or 128gb would be better imo

very happy with my corsair gt 60gb tho, perfoming great

I have a 830 256gb and can't fault it so far, I got it over the m4 as I thought it might be more reliable.

However I don't think there is a lot between the Intel, m4 and 830.

Ive just got the Intel 520 120Gb model and i also thought about saving the extra money and going with the M4 because its so much cheaper but i decided to pay for the extra warranty and followed the advice in the SSD thread on what was best for me.
From the review on this forum on SSD's there is not much difference between all the drives on performance especially when upgrading from an older drive, which ever one you pick you will expereince a massive improvement. Like someone said though go for the 120Gb model, ive got 45 Gb left after windows and BF3

I've not heard of any serious problems with the M4s apart from the 5000 hour crashes and that didn't lose any (saved) data and was fixed quickly.

A company that admits and corrects their mistakes is more persuasive to me than a company that won't admit fault.

I have a 128GB M4 and love it. It was easy to install, easy to update the firmware and I've had no problems with it at all.

I got a 128GB M4 a few weeks ago, i'd held off buying an ssd as i wasn't sure about reliability but after seeing how fast Crucial got a fix for the 5200Hr bug decided i'd go with them.
Intel may give 5Yr warranty against 3Yr with Crucial but i expect ssd's to be so much improved in a couple of years that i'll be getting a new one anyway, as much for the increased size if not the performance, i'd expect to be getting about 500GB for £150 in 3 years time.
