im looking for either a very reliable SSD for a PC that will most likely not be upgraded for a good 3-4 years at least. the system is mostly for office work, so capacity isnt too much of an issue, and it will be networked to other PCs which have enough HDD space. My original plan was to get a 1TB WD black however upon realising the majority of the space wont be used, im wondering if an SSD is a better opinion.

summary
Office PC - low end skt1155
120GB SSD (must be reliable) or WD black 1TB
most likely use 60 to 80GB including OS
will be networked to a few TB of local storage
systems expected life is 3+ years

no one knows how reliable solid states are with some being described as "ticking time bombs" also bit of a waste of money to use a ssd as a storage device rather then for programs.
