Thunder Brigade (absolute beast of a game on my first ever PC)
And Homeworld Cataclysm. Purely epic game, could really do with a graphics/engine workover... Hell, if people are remaking stalker using cryengine 2 why not these games too
Solid Snake (metal gear 2 - NES) (guess mg 1 as well in the list) Remade but not 3d just same gameplay but nice gfx i think.
And Metal Gear Solid (the first of the 3d ones on ps) to be done in HD but nothing enhanced i.e features, just gfx update leaving game intact untouched would be nice. Which iirc the are thinking of doing but im not sure for PC or not.
Super Off road and Super cars 3 in HD would be pretty damn nice.
What exactly qualifies as a "remade" game these days?
For me I would say a remake, is the same game brought up to date with redrawn graphics and new sound/music, but keeping the game exactly how it was.
For instance, the video I quoted, I would consider that to be more of a sequel rather than a remake, sure enough its pretty much the same game, but the theme has changed, characters have changed, the levels are not the same layout etc etc, so how is it considered a "remake"?
I'm not saying its wrong at all, it just boggles me because I don't quite get a "remake"
