If you enter the reg and make of a car it will tell you when the last tax disc ran out on it was taken off the road. Not sure how far it goes back but its giving me dates from the 90's. My first car apparently lasted a few years after i had it. Also i noticed that a half decent car i once part exchanged was never taxed again

But apparently it hasn't been scrapped, even though I sent forms in saying it was scrapped.
