Remembrance

Went outside at 11am, it's nice to be alone out of the office to think clearly and reflect properly.

Remember and respect those who died and those who lived.

I took time out to today to remember those who fought for us. I post this picture every year in these threads, he was my grandad I'm proud of him and what he did for others. Love you Grandad.

2 minute silence at school. I'm glad everyone was quiet, nice to have a moment to reflect.

I blogged just now, I'm sorry, I couldn't help it: http://sarawallen.blogspot.com/2009/11/lest-we-forget.html

I remember shedding tears hearing the last post (which I realise in the blog I put as Last Stand, ooops) at the Menin Gate on a school battlefields trip to Ypres when I was 14.

Everyone should do that trip, if not as a kid, then as an adult.

It's all just a big, big shame, still now as much as it was back then.

We had our parade out here in Musa Qala on the 8th. Had our own 2 minute silence at 11am UK time in the RAP.

We will remember them.
