Reminder: clocks go back tonight!!

Uhh, getting sleepy now, was considering making a cup of tea and watching an episode of the simpsons, but this hardcore timetravelling isn't really my forte :( Neet-noot.

Time changes shouldn't affect nightclubs. All the clubs I have ever been to ignore the time change - so we don't get an extra hour :(

Last year I had no taxi fair and spent about an hour wandering around Manchester wondering why no cash machines work. My beer-addled brain eventually caught up with current events and informed me the clocks changed meaning cash machines are now fubar.

Had to use my switch card in a 24Hr shop. Guy wasn't impressed with me buying a packet of polos with my card. I am pretty sure there is usually a minimum amount but he didn't say anything :D

Strange sense of satisfaction seeing 20p on my statement lol.

I was actually up and on the computer but missed it entirely :(

I obviously went throught the 1-2am hour the first time then started it again without realising as I looked at the clock at 1:15 and thought I'd better go to bed but when I got into the bed the clock in the bedroom said 2:20.

Surely they're contracted for X amount of hours, and therefore won't have to do the extra hour?
Im pretty sure you dont paid for the extra hour since it just negates the hour you didnt have to work when it moved from DST to BST back in Spring...

Im unsure how that affects contractors on short-term contracts, but Id expect that for permanent employees...

Its just like getting paid the same amount each month even though some months have bank holidays and the like - its just worked out for the year and just averaged for each month - makes sense really...
