Either I am going blind , the search facility is broken or there just isnt a thread for it yet, but few days away from the release of Remnant 2 and the NDA is lifted.

9/10 from IGN, which for IGN equates to a 12/10 for a normal person

Playing through the first one now and i quite like it. A bit challenging at times but the gameplay is good overall. Will finish it and look to buying the second if the reviews are decent.

Felt samey samey though didn't really feel any progression with it. Maybe I didn't give it enough time. We'll see how the second one turns out.

I never played the original game. Looks like a fun co-op shooter, but I'm not so convinced about its merits as a single player game.

I enjoyed no.1 as a co-op shooter, wasn't exactly ground breaking though.

Tempted by no.2, looks like they gave the class system a much needed overhaul.

Original game was a sleeper hit for me. Especially in co-op.

I'd never heard of it until I grabbed it for free on Epic, ended up absolutely loving it and buying the expansion/dlc.

I think I'll pick this up now it's out, all the reviews I've seen are positive.

I went the free Epic route and dropped it too. Sounds like co-op was the way to go? I wonder if that's how it is with this one too. The follow up seems to be reviewing well so far, might just grab a key as it's pretty cheap.

Much like The Division titles, its far better in co-op, its what its designed for really.

No to cross play but randoms can join if you leave your game public.

Remnant II PC Port Impressions - Solid, But Needs DLSS 3 and Lumen

Remnant II is a solid, if barebones, PC port. However, it could really level up if the developers added UE5's Lumen and DLSS 3.
