Hi guys,

Just purchased a 3g dongle for playing poker with on nightshift at work. Installed the software for it etc etc, went to connect and it was unable to. Phoned 3g helpline which instructed me eventually, to go to services and set "Remote Access Auto Manager" to auto. However when trying this I receive an error message "Windows could not start the Remote Access Auto Connection Manager service on Local Computer" "Error1068: The dependency service or group failed to start"

Ive tried it as admin etc, but i cant seem to get it enabled. Ive tried googling but apprantly error1068 is very common and couldnt find anything usefull. If it cant get it working within 10 days i guess ill have to send it back and forget the idea :(

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im running win 7 ultimate (64) btw.

(edit) think ive posted this in the wrong section, pls delete mod :D

Remote Access Auto Manager requires the Remote Access Connection Manager and Telephony services to be running.

Telephony should already be running and RACM is underneath RAAM in the services list. :)

Telephony is running but i get the same problem with RAAM as i do with RACM :(

RACM requires SSTP (secure socket) which i set to automatic and clicked start, which begins to run then stops and gives me a message saying it started then stopped but some services do this if not being used. however i still cannot get either RAAM or RACM to start :(
