Remote desktop software recommendation

Hi guys, I am moving permanently to Australia in 2 weeks.

I want to leave my gaming PC here for my brother but still want access to all of my files.

Is there any software that would allow me to remotely connect to my gaming PC, browse the files but most importantly I want the ability to drag and drop files from the gaming PC in UK to my gaming laptop that I will have with me in Australia.

Have a look at Parsec or Moonlight. They are built specifically for gaming, so they handle high-bandwidth connections really well and will let you control your PC smoothly. For simple file transfers, you can use TeamViewer or AnyDesk, which have built-in drag and drop file managers.
 
There is other software like splashtop and even the google remote desktop.

I use the google remote desktop to access my plex server
 
How many files are we talking about? To RDP will require the PC to be powered up, it'll also mean your brother can't use it at the point that you connect to it.

Frankly sounds a lot of faff with much easier solutions available. Either uploading files to cloud (depending on how many files you need), or just deploying something like a low powered NAS.

It will pretty much just be documents, pictures etc I was going to do an upload this side but there are so many documents that I need that I need it would take ages to find them all and upload as they are scattered all over the place on multiple hard drives.
