Need to pick your brains a bit guys...
I've just put together an old P4HT system for the grandparents as an internet/word processing PC - they've wanted one for a while and I couldn't bear to see them pay D£LL over £300.
I'm heading over to their house to get everything set up soonish, but from there on in they're on there own unfortunately - they live on the other side of the country so it's not really feasible to keep going over there to fix things.
I've set them up with a standard privilege account on XP Pro, so hopefully there won't be too much that can go wrong. They're not ICT illiterate, but they're not that tech-savvy by any means. Can I restrict the account any further to prevent problems?
My main query is with regard to remote desktop though. I'd like to get a system setup whereby there is an easy way for me to be able to remotely control their computer, by whatever means possible.
Windows Remote Desktop is very versatile, but then again I prefer something like LogMeIn for its simplicity. This is something that needs to reqire as little user input from them as possible.
Solutions anyone?
Thanks!
