Looking for some help with this problem.

My brother in law is a manager at a hotel and has been complaining recently that messages from his boss (Galaxy Note) have been disappearing from his inbox (iPhone 5). Apparently some other members of staff have had the same thing happen.

All this is stemming from when one of the staff members stopped sleeping with the married boss, BroLo seems to think the boss is trying to clear after himself.

My question though, is this actually possible?

I've read around a bit and seen there's an app that will let you reclaim a text if it's not been opened or read, and then there's imessages, would he be able to do the above with that?

Cheers

Even deleting a text from the various network boxes involved will not delete a text that's been delivered to a phone. And access to the above boxes is very tightly controlled.

Same goes for iMessages.

Does your BiL ever leave his phone laying around unlocked?

Thought as much, he isn't very tech literate so I'm not surprised he's made some huge fuss, and yes he leaves his phone unlocked but wouldn't have any of it when I said that was it!

Thanks for the help Terminal Boy

If it's a work phone it could have sw pre installed that allows complete control of the phone or a 2nd hand phone with a malicious previous owner.
