Is there a way to remove the 200 message limit on txt conversations on android (im using an HTC desire, just got it)

Reason is, I got a nokia and an older samsung phoneneither with data cables and a tonne of messages on both phones I wish to keep (in the region of 600 total) I know I can back them up off the Desire, just wanted to get a complete copnversation history going before I did.

When in inbox push menu button, options, untick delete old messages box.

However when above 800 it lags a fair bit on mine, also took 20 mins to delete a 1500 message. long conversation

This, but sadly i left mine till 3000 and it was a total nightmare to get rid of the thread. Just cause force close every time i tried to delete it

Thanks a lot guys, Ill bear this in mind.

To save starting a new thread, I'm going away for a month tonight, is there any android app that will let me create some kind of a holiday log, take pictures/video in locations, sync to GPS, add notes and such and then upload to a website or other file that I can share with someone, I just got my HTC Desire yesterday so I don't really know where I'm looking.

Thanks in advance.

Already got that one, I found something called footprints, looks like I can export to google earth doc, looks like its near enough what I need.

Behold! More questions, ever to be the last minute organiser I realised Im going to need to get ahold of some cheap webaccess/rated calls for my month long trip.

I have an HTC desire, and will be taking my laptop, whats a good cheap option for data access in italy, I dont think im going to be anywhere near a WiFi.

To delete all stored SMS's, go to:
Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, "All", scroll to "Messaging" and choose "Clear Data" :)

<edit> Apparently not

If you delete the file mmssms.db, located in /data/data/com.android.providers/telephony/databases/mmssms.db and then restart the phone you should be golden :)
