When I delete a file from my Asustor NAS I get prompted with the "are you sure you want to permanently delete this file" dialogue box. I'd rather it didn't appear but I can't remember how to disable it. Everything I google seems to refer to local hard drives rather than a NAS

Any ideas?

Do you mean the message from Windows? You can change when this option appears by going into the properties of your Recycle Bin, choosing the drive and change it from there.

Yeah, that's the message but in recycle bin the "display delete confirmation dialogue" box is unticked.

It’s definitely the right one. If I turn it on or off for local drives it works but not for the mapped NAS drive. Regardless of what setting I use I still get the prompt.

I get the confirmation dialogue if I browse to a shared folder on the NAS and try to delete files so there's no opportunity to select/de-select a drive letter.
