Couple of days ago I started recieving spam on my e-mail account that has remained spam free for like over a year. There has only been about 10emails but it annoys me that its started.

I think i know where it came from, i was messing round with one of them MSN Block check things, I put my e-mail address in to see if it worked and no doubt the thing has taken my e-mail address and used it for some crappy spam thing.

There was a form ages ago I remember filling out that you type your address in and it removes you from spam lists? I think anyway. I might be thinking of something for my telephone, but im sure there was one for emails aswell.

Any ideas?

I was spam free for ages on my Gmail account. Then one day i see the spam box over flowing. V1agra 0EM software and the like.

Don't really mind and they seem to be slowing down, but just like the OP it annoyed me when it started.

Even my hotmail address (must be about 4 years old now) was spam free until recently (well it was ALL filtered at least). Now I keep getting this crud about stock market changes that are apparently about to happen getting through the filter and into my inbox :( . I get more spam than real emails now :( .

Add the 10 or so emails you get to the junk mail list by their IP/enter part of the email/whatever you can.

My email address "[email protected]" is a spam magnet... o2 claim to have a spam guard activated but that doesn't stop me getting about 100 new junk emails a day (by the way, I stopped checking it a long time ago!)

My gmail address so far only got one spam message delivered to the inbox, but the amount of spam filtered into the junk message folder has increased a lot since I opened the account.

There are programs out there that allow people to browse through the database of a certain email provider. Your address would be right at the top of the list if the spammer went through it alphabetically.
