So, we've got an electric wall hung fireplace with glass surround. The glass is painted red on the back. We're now bored of red and would like to change it. When I say we're... I mean her, who must be obeyed, apparently yellow and grey's are in fashion - what do I know.

Without being wasteful and just replacing the whole unit, does anyone know of a way to remove the paint from the back of the glass easily, and what paint type, we I should use to repaint the part with yellow or grey (YAY).

Peelw away. Expensive ish but will definitely do it. Haven’t looked to see how suitable/unsuitable it might be for glass but that would be what I’d use.

Edit: just re-read. Surely a Stanley knife blade and some perseverance will do it.
