Remove Program Manually?

Hey all,

I recently installed Spamfighter on my Vista 64 which is using Office 2007 Outlook as the default mail client. Now the installation became corrupt and now I can reinstall it or uninstall it.

I have tried deleting the files and removing everything I can see but I still get the following error when opening Outlook:

Now this isnt such a problem because I just click ok but its a bit of a pain seeing it everytime I open Outlook (I like things to run perfect

)

So I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to totally remove a program manually or a piece of software that could do it for me?

You need to delete the registry entries. Try Ccleaner to get rid of the offending keys

No joy, only found to issues in the registry related to Spamfighter, I removed both but I still get the error.

Anymore ideas?

Use regedit and search for any more offending entries

I did a search for spamfighter in regedit and deleted a lot of entrys until it couldnt find anymore but I am still getting the error.

I have also done a restart just to make sure.

Run regedit as an admin and have another look.

Have you tried removing the add in from outlook? Is it listed in the trust center?

Give RegSeeker a go, it scans all your drives to better determine entires thata re no longer needed.

Because you get the message when starting Outlook it's probably an entry under Outlooks bit of the registry. And search for that dll in the registry as a whole.
