Removeable bios chips

What are the point of these if we cannot buy a spare one?

You can from certain bios online specialists who send out pre flashed ones etc. Can't remember the links to such places though

Is it an Abit? They do replacement BIOS chips if it is and there are several places on ebay that will reflash the BIOS chip for you.

Just want to buy one to have as a backup.
Would be great to have one i think.Any link to such non competitor stockists

abit will charge you £17.63 for a new, flashed chip for your mobo.
If you know the exact model of chip that your board uses you can probably find an unprogrammed 1 cheaper.
