Ok, i'm trying to replace my current laptop screen with 1680x1050 worth of goodness. I've removed the lcd module so the laptop is in two parts, but i'm trying to removed the plastic on the lcd module and it has plastic clips on the inside. How do you unhook these from the outside, i've tried force and 1 unhooked reluctantly and the other one the hook broke off. There must be a better way to do this!

Anyone done this before?

Right ok, I managed to get the bezel off and replace the screen. The issue I have no is that I used the original inverter that was powering the old screen. Now the new screen has a power supply but no signal, I tried the old screen and that got signal. I can control the backlight and everything with the new screen it just wont show an image. Is this an inverter problem?
