Removing door/drawer front from integrated freezer?

Do you reckon they might just bolt on? I shall order up the spanner and see what I can do.

These are the last two that need stripping and painting! Lol.

Yes. it must just bolt on. Obviously the system you have pre-dates the system that i was think about.

Just a quick report back, I ordered one of the spanners and also managed to find a copy of the manual for the freezer, which is apparently just over 20 years old... The idea is that you loosen the bolts with the spanner then the décor panel can slide far enough to one side that you can then pull the other side forward and slide the panel off.

Once I got the spanner I gave this a try but it seems the idiots that fitted the kitchen (it was definitely done by idiots, there's so many mistakes) didn't put the brackets in the right place to allow this to happen, so instead I had to completely remove two of the bolts before I could remove the panel. Once this was done, I stripped the vinyl and painted and then with a bit fiddling and ingenuity I managed to get the panels refitted, so now my kitchen door painting days are over! Onto the walls, coving, ceiling etc etc.

Coming in late to this thread. I don't have a hex head on the fianal bolt, more like a flat rivet head so not intended for a spanner but this is the inside.

Once you turn the top screw clockwise you will wind the screws retaining the facia out, so easy once you know.

If you're thinking about a big hammer have a brew instead.

I'm in the process of freshening up my kitchen a bit and need to remove the draw/door fronts from my integrated freezer but I'm not quite sure on how to do so.

With the integrated fridge it was simple as there were just screws and brackets that needed to be unscrewed however on the freezer I have what looks like 4 slotted brackets with bolts (2 either side)?

I think I probably need to get them undone using a flat pressed type spanner like you get with bikes etc though I don't know quite what size it would need to be?

Also I have the issue that I can't get to the two brackets on one side as it's close to the wall, would I be right in thinking I'll need to take the door of the freezer right off?

edit, forgot to put up a pic of the bracket I have:

Just come across your post. I had same problem but my bolt heads were round, so spanner (which I couldn’t find on Amazon) wouldn’t work! Decided to get strip of wood and a hammer, hit hinge edge of decor door and it slid off
