Removing glue left behind from parking tickets?

Have you tried..... peeling it off? I know you tried scraping it off, but maybe peel it off carefully with a pin or something.

I had a massive A4 sized sticker attached to my windscreen once saying I shouldn't park where I was parked. Great idea that, prevent me from moving my car from the forbidden space by sticking a huge thing over the area of the screen I need to see out of.

Anyway, hot soapy water got it right off, so I'd just try that before shelling out on a cleaning product, unless you already have something.

Means you had to remove it (and therefore read it) before driving off and doing it again?
It's not like it takes you half an hour to take off a notice :p
Unless of course it leaves a horrendous residue..

It was pretty much impossible to remove using screenwash and an ice scraper, sticky stuff wouldn't budge. Luckily a passing person offered me a tub of hot water.

And it was dark when I parked there so I didn't notice the no parking sign, not that it was busy or anything, just a staff parking area for some uni halls. Bleh.

Well after about 30mins of elbow grease and a lot more hot water than I was expecting it's finally gone. Seriously I used about 3L of near boiling water before it softened up enough to be taken off!
