Hi Guy's,
I'm soon going to be changing my mobo due to a small problem with the old one going FUBAR on me!... (Advent T9002 - ECS Mobo)

I've ordered an Abit NF8-V2 as the CPU (AMD64 3400+ S754) and Memory (Samsung 512Mb PC3200) are fine and I can't afford new ones anyway!...
Anyhew!.....
I wanted to ask!, Whats the easiest way to get the HSF off (I think its got a pad thing) and remove the CPU from the old board with out damaging either???. (I assume the Thermal Pad thing might stick the HSF and CPU together!!)...
Plus I've bought some thermal paste to re-apply, whats the best way to remove all remnants of the pad from the HSF and CPU???...
Cheers in Advance!.
