Removing locking wheel nuts

So to steal your wheels with sockets you would need at least 8, (to cover two different sized wheel nuts) then the correct size tool to remove the factory nuts also, large hammer and extension bar.

Can't see many people going to that much effort unless the wheels an your car are worth a fair amount, even then you can fit two styles of locking nut on the same wheel.

One guy carries 8 sockets, one guy carries a hammer and extending breaker bar, one guy carries a couple of wheel braces for the standard nuts. Don't forget you need a couple of bodies in a team to carry the wheels away, so it's rarely a one man band.

Or the best defence we found in aother thread is to buy 4 sets of el cheapo shiteo ebay locking nuts and put 4 different nuts on each wheel, sod that for a quick couple of quid of an evening!
