I have an x-fi titanium, and I can't get it to work in vista 64.
I've removed the old drivers via the installation utility, and I've run driver sweeper (in safe mode). Still, when I go to install the latest drivers from the creative website it says that it has found a newer version of the audio drivers, and then exits.
So, my question is how do I completely remove any old creative drivers so that I can reinstall the new ones?
Also, as soon as vista starts it tries to install the default drivers for the card, "high definition audio device". I've tried uninstalling these before installing the new drivers, but no luck.
The card is recognised, and windows sound panel recognises when speakers are plugged in, but I get no sound. The speakers work fine with the onboard sound.
Thanks...
