removing Partition from ssd ?

Hi guys I tried to copy my laptop HD to a new SSD using a free programme but in doing so I have just managed to make a small partition and cant get it removed again if I try to delete it all I get cant delete
any ides ? on windows 7 btw

Try using DISKPART from the command line. There are guides on its use if you have a quick Google.

If you still want to clone the drive retry it. The cloning process will remove any existing partitions.

What software did you use? I’d suggest Macrium Reflect (the free version).

was using EaseUS backup & Recovery and EaseUS partition master both the free versions will give macrium a try later
