yeah, random question i know, but my favourite coffee cup is white and has become a bit stained over time. anyone got any tips for getting rid of them without damaging the cup?

yeah thought about that but didnt want to risk damaging the cup.k3v said:for yours how about putting bleach in it?
thats a fine idea. just soak for an hour. then wash out very well.ElRazur said:Not a good idea.....

ive given it some elbow grease and the stains are mostly gone (after about 15 minutes scrubbing!), but there's still a dark patch at the bottom i want to get rid of. guess it will probably go after a few more scrubbing sessions. was just being lazy and wondering if anyone new an easy way to get rid of them.![]()
no it wont kill me, but its a bit embarrasing if someone else uses it and when they finish their coffee they think ive given them a cup that hasnt been cleaned. :/Mr.Orb said:Well if the cup is clean, surly a little dark patch won't kill you![]()

Why not? Bleach rinses off very well and sanitises.ElRazur said:Not a good idea.....
