Removing swirl marks

No

Toilet brush for the wheels, works a treat and only costs 59p from wilkinsons :-)

Tips from professionals always seem suprising until you ttry them, got that from ttoc forum and never looked back.

for £250, my brother will do it for you ;)

His golf had loads of swirl marks on it when he got it, now the paint looks liquid-like, it is really remarkable.

i'll ask him how he does it

I think I'll be getting one of those!

Supagard gets rid of them VERY well!

Buy a kit of eBay and take loads of time to clean it properley and do it yourself

I just bought a pc last night, £120 imported inc p+p. I have been reading some detailing websites for the last few weeks and have learnt some vary good tips.

My favourite website is Meguiars Online

Look out for the threads from Mike Phillips, he goes to great detail in explaining what to do.

:edit: On the Meguiars forum, they normally talk about a G100, that is just a relabled PC.

any ideas where to get a G100 from? They look like amazing products to get the cars clean :)

Where did you get it for £120 from?

If you decide to purchase a PC via Autopia, it's worth it to email Lynn who may (or may not) be able to help importing one ;)

I was watching a re-run of Pulling Power with that silly tit Mike Brewer and some other numpty. They were testing the "new" M5 but they also had a feature on a guy who charges £ 000's to valet supercars. He did a really good job and he used a wax from the USA which cost £120 odd for a tub. He alsmost licked the car clean and then used a microscope to view the surface of the paintwork to gauge how much polish he had to use to get rid of all the scratches. He reckons the treatment would last 6 months.

I think I'll stick to my wax on, wax off strategy.

And the good thing is, once the swirl marks have ben removed, you can just use the PC to poilish and wax your car to save your arm from falling off.

Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine is pretty good stuff. I'm not sure how long it lasts but it did a good job at getting the swirls out. £11 from halfords.
