Removing window tinting

The stickey back plastic stuff? if so you will need a razor blade scraper to scrape the majority off and then a good wad of cloth and a tin of paint thinners to rub off the sticky residue.

Yes that stuff :D .....thanks, just not sure if it will look crap and mark the window after

Ner it will be fine as long as you dont gauge the window with the blade it should come off quite easily. The window wont mark as long as you rub the smeg off with the thinners well. If you can soak the smeg in thinners that way it will dissolve off.

Easy peasy. I picked up a door from a scrappy that had been professionally tinted. To remove the tint I just peeled it off. This left a sticky residue though, which was hard work to remove with thinners. Claybar on the other hand removed it pretty quickly. I'd far rather use claybar than a razor blade, I'd probably end up with a combination of scratches and blood on the window!

i took all the tint off my car a month or so ago. just peeled the plastic film off which left the glue all over the window.

I used a window scraper (stanley knife blade thing) and some fairy liquid & water solution which disolved the glue which i then scraped off and wiped the snot like scrapings on some kitchen roll.
