Rent Falling

I have been looking to rent a new place here in Bristol and have noticed that rent has come down about 10% in the last year. I can get a much nicer, bigger house for the same money as I already pay. Is this just here or has anybody else noticed this?

I've noticed the opposite here in Windsor. Maybe Bristol isn't as desirable as it was this time last year or maybe demand has went down.

I've never been to Bristol so can't comment

I've only been looking at the prices for the nicer areas of Windsor. There aren't really any bad areas in Windsor itself but Indi... I mean Slough, isn't far up the road and the closer you get to Slough, the lower the prices get.

From what I've seen though, the prices have either remained steady or increased slightly.

I remember drunkenly walking from Slough to Windsor once with a few mates after we couldn't get a taxi. You're right about Slough. I have been there once and got punched by a girl with a hotdog in her hand. I couldn't see properly for about 2 days. The bloody ketchup nearly blinded me
