btw that desk makes the room seem smaller than it is, it's one of the huge ass ikea gallants
I moved in at the start of January :D

started painting that room about 1-2 weeks back and just need to finish a wall where the radiator is then move my pc into that room using that new desk but I cant be bothered :(

You've got carpet.... Show off! :D

I'd just buy a second hand one. May take a little while to find one locally but got to work out cheaper than laundrette/renting in the long run. Alternative can you shop around for a cheaper laundrette because £12/week sounds a lot.

I'm sure this will trigger a few "Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!"s from people who don't wear the same clothes for more than 5mins and shower 6 times a day, but maybe look at less frequent washing too i.e. could you get it down to £1/day? The only items of clothing I wash after a single day's use are socks, underwear, work shirts and possibly other tops if I've been doing something sweaty. For simple dossing about the house I don't see the harm in wearing a shirt more than once, and typically I'll wear the same trousers mon-fri unless they get dirty.
