Has anyone done this?

I'm going to be moving and I think if I don't put it back in its box I'm asking for it to be broke, but I can't fathom how to repack it in original box? Anyone done this?

I've not put a TV back in its box but I did put all of the protection back in its original place when I store my boxes away.
Its a flaff as its not how you'd expect an unboxing to be. Like Simmz said, watch a few youtube videos as there are plenty of people who's done the unboxing but just a bit of trial and error.
Also when searching for youtube videos, they dont all explain it in the title so watch a LG CX OLED videos for example and scan them quickly to get to the part you need to.

I don't trust removal people with electronics. I put my TV wrapped in a blanket in the back of the car. Might not help if you don't have a car or have an 85" TV!

Anything over 42-50 inch would struggle in any back seat unless your talking seats down and using the boot as well.

Personally I'd borrow a van or an estate off someone and lay it on a bed of pillows and wrap it in a couple of duvets and use some cushions to wedge in the sides.

Surely if the removal people break it in the process then it's their problem/responsibility to replace it, whereas if you stick it in the back of the car and it breaks, it's on you?

This should be the case. I would make sure beforehand though. Make sure they can't put the plame on you for the packaging or some way of getting out of it.

What size is it ?
Best way is back seats of a car

Hah. Good luck trying that with an LG OLED.

I wouldn't move one without having it fully wrapped up in it's original packaging.

I get that the thin-ness has a cool factor, but jeez, I'm much rather have a full solid backing. Just lifting my CX to get it on the wall was terrifying.

I ended up moving my 55" OLED LG in the back of the car when we moved. VW Golf, backseats down and amoungst other items, had a few other lower profile cardboard boxes on the bottom, duvet on top of them. Wrapped the screen in bubblewrap, layed it backdown flat and drove very carefully!

Yeah. The thinness is kind of pointless as well considering the bulk at the bottom of the panel.

Treat it with caution like the big glass panel it is. Don't over think it. Wrap it up well and it'll be fine, as long as you transport it yourself you'll be golden.

I'm worried about transporting mine when I eventually move as well.

I have a 65" B8 and the box was designed to be destroyed upon opening so I have nothing to pack it in. Not that I'm planning to move anytime soon.
