Replace a 4890XT?

Hi

I'm only a light/moderate gamer and am looking to upgrade from my current Radeon 4890XT to something more current. I have no preference on make and have a budget of approx £150. Resolution is 1920x1080.

Any recommendations?

Up your budget a tiny bit and grab a 280x possibly?

If buying new, then something like a R9 380 would deliver excellent bang for the buck, though how much your cpu might hold it back, I'm not too sure.

Could always spend the minimum on a second hand card while you accrue funds for a new mobo + cpu?

Yeah agreed on the R9 380. GTX 960 beating performance and similar power use.

Power consumption on Tonga is really good.

Around £150, a lot of GPU for the money.

Both the 960 and 380 are around £150.

Either of those are decent but a 285 can be had for just £130 and is more or less as good.
