Replace drive?

Just checked one of my older 3tb drives in my server and its showing has having 1536 bad sectors but ok.

Ive backed everything up so not concerned about the data should I swap it with a spare ive got or wait for it to die?

Currently doing a full 0 and 1 format on it to rebuild it and see if they are really bad or just glitches but based on the age and years "up and spinning" Im assuming its on its way out

would agree, if its getting bad blocks and its got data on you need\don't want to loose then get rid of the drive or put it to one side as its not worth the hassle or cost of getting data recovery on it if you forget\don't backup the data one night and it dies

Well after running a format and badblocks its detected another 400 blocks that have failed so its being swapped tonight
