The cards in question are MSI GTS450's which are overclocked.
Load temps are 42c and 52c (SLI causing a hotspot).

Is it worth removing the stock thermal paste/pad and replacing it with MX4 (which I already have)?

Those temps are pretty good, if you do remove the stock cooler to change out the paste/pads, it may invalidate the warranty on the cards.

You might be right. I've not looked to be honest.
They are on 24/7 running F@H so are always at 100%. Any decrease in temp has got to be good for the life expectancy of the cards.
I know CPU's benefit, but I'm not sure about graphics cards.
