sorry for another GTA V thread

is it worth upgrading from gtx660ti to gtx970 for 1080p wil there be any difference in GTA V and/or will my CPU bottleneck, its currently hitting a max of 70 to 80% on GTA but mostly hovers around the 65% usage, the GPU is hitting 80-99% according to CPU-Z

I Dont wont to upgrade for the sake of it... or to gain 5 or 6fps

current setup (apologies im at work so dont have exact model)

Intel i7 920 2.6ghz overclocked to 3.5ghz
Gigabyte GA-EX58 ..motherboard
12gb Corsair Dominator triple channel 1600
MSI GTX 660ti 2gb
650w PSU

would be thinking of the OcUK GeForce GTX 970 "NVIDIA 970 Cooler Edition" 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Many sites have done performance reviews with this game now and it seems that a 970 will effectively double/triple your frame rate.

Your CPU is not an issue, if your board has a BIOS update then do that to (this will wipe your overclock mind you).

Also nvidia released new drivers on launch day for this game.

cheers, BIOS is up-to-date i did this a couple of months back when i overclocked. I did update the driver as well as my game was suffering from "Stripy Face syndrome" in multiplayer.. double or triple frame rate ... its sounding tempting

Your frame rate will improve massively at the same settings but if you get a new card you'll likely crank the settings up so it will look better.

.. just one more thing will post in psu area,, looking for a fully modular 650 - 750 psu that has a decent length on the CPU power connector
