Hi there,

I currently have a Gigabyte nForce4 motherboard. However, I need to buy myself a 4-port PCI-E expansion card and my Gigabyte mobo only have 1-port PCI-E expansion sockets. So I need to buy a new mobo. My question is: will I have to re-install Windows if I replace my nForce4 mobo with an nForce4-SLI mobo?

No it should be fine. Although you may need some drivers but windows should load up enabling you to update your system.

Should be ok, just uninstall the chipset drivers before you swap them over, then install the new ones after the swap :)
