Seems to be on the way out.A few months ago it caused Vista to crash and I have had a few BSOD's under Windows 7 (hardware related).The last BSOD has caused the DVI output to stop working.

What would be a reasonably cheap replacement?
 
how cheap would you consider cheap? and it depends what other hardware you've got; i.e. motherboard :)
 
I think then that best you could get for that kind of money (first hand not second hand) would be a HD4850, but that is really pushing it. I've got a 9800GT which is less powerful than a 4850 and I'm very happy with it, it plays everything I throw at it; unfortunately there is not much price difference so the 4850 is what I suggest you should aim for.
You could perhaps check the bay for some deals if any are going and keep watching the weekly deals on here for some good bargains! ;)
