About 8 weeks ago i bought an LG32LCD for around £550.. however it has gone to the land of poop.. and after being disgusted with the poor customer service of the place i bought it from..

I have asked for a full refund.. So i need a replacement..

Ideally somthing around 32" again.. I have long been a big fan of Panny's and i was silly not to get one this time. What are the 32" Pannys like? and am i likely to get a good one for about that price.

I use my LCD for.. 360 (via VGA) PC (Via HDMI) Wii (via component) and will likely use the freeview if its any good. (although im thinking of getting cable at some stage) Audio isnt important as i use a serperate Hi-fi .. but optical out would be nice it it has freeview.

Plus picture in picture is another nice thing :P

Thanks..

Check out both the new panasonic and samsung lcd tv. They come top in a review I read in mag a while ago. The panasonic only just beats the samsung but the samsung is considerably cheaper by about £100ish. I've got a samsung meself and I'm well pleased even though it has only one hdmi socketa and no internal freeview. Its gonna replaced with one of the newer samsungs, probably an R88/M86.

Toshiba 32C3030DB - can be had for less than £500, if you look around.

I bought it a few weeks back and am loving it :).

I've spent a while looking at 32" LCDs (5 months!) and both through my personal experience in shop demos and what seems like the advice of the majority of people out there, the Panasonic 32LXD70 is just about the best you'll get for under £800. It can be had for around the £660 mark.

Is this the NEW 100hz models?? If so they are AMAzing quality.. but a hefty price tag for a 32"... im very tempted to tho.

Another vote for the Toshiba 32C3030DB here. Got mine few weeks ago and loving it. Digital tuner is really good, the picture quality is great and i haven't had to tweak anything. Sound quality suprised me too. Just waiting on some HD content to test out. Although Gears of War looks awesome at 1080i

1080i? The 32 inch screen is only 720. Mo point setting the 360 to 1080i.

I'm sure the instructions say it will display 1080i and downscale 1080p inputs
edit
nope just checked....it will just scale the signal - 1366X768 so no 1080 resolution

guess you have to spend a bit more cash to get a 1920x1080 screen

At 32" unless you sit really really close, 720p will look no different/better. 1080 is fairly pointless on anything under 40" imo.

Not if your using it as a PC monitor as well.. then that extra res will come in handy for desktop space and games played closer..

But i know what ** saying..
