Replacement battery Macbook Pro 2015

Just found an old Macbook it still works fine when plugged in but the battery is toast!

Just wondered if it's a nightmare or not? as I'm guessing getting Apple to change it will cost a fortune or they won't entertain such an old one?

Few videos on YT doesn't look hard to replace. And I'm sure you can check directly on the Apples website how much battery replacements cost.

I did one to a 2010 MBP. However after about 6 months it wouldn't turn on without the cable plugged in anyway...

ifixit has a guide to all the models, some are much easier than others.

Ive done it on my old 2015 (last Sept, still holding) it was ok, the adhesive was abit of a pain, have a old debt card (or 2) ready and maybe some isopropyl to make it easier

Do it somewhere safe (ideally outside) and wear goggles, as if you pierce it accidently it can be pretty dangerous.
