Replacement Canon i450 Print Head

My Canon i450 has stopped printing cyan (at all) and after numerous deep cleaning cycles there's still no cyan in sight.

I've replaced the ink cartridge as well and still no joy.

So i've decided it must be the print head at fault so im looking for a replacement, the only problem is finding one which doesn't cost more than a new printer itself.

There must be some cheap ones somewhere. Any ideas?

Doesnt seem worth it to me, printers are so cheap now, is it worth trying to fix the printer?

before throwing out printhead get some meths or isopropyl or ink printhead cleaner, get a small container and place a folded cloth in the bottom, then pour some of the cleaning liquid on the cloth, enough to be quite moist, and stand your printhead on this for a few hours...+ you could try filling one of your empty cartridges with printhead cleaner, epson provides this fluid or get some generic stuff from inkjet website..............9 times out of 10 this is enough.
