One of our office machines is performing random BSOD.
After much diagnostic work, it would appear that the Seagate HD is failing (7200.12). After the BSOD, the drive can be heard clicking.
Now, Dell being Dell, i am not sure what Sata speeds the ICH7 on the mobo supports. Are all modern drives backwards compatible as far back as Sata 1 if thats all I have?
I was going to order a WD drive, but wanted to check compatibility.
