replacement fan for Intel D945GCLF2

Just got a Intel D945GCLF2 and my god the 40mm fan is noisy so what is the best to replace it with am looking for a bit of peace and quiet, whilst maintaining a reasonable cooling effect.

you will be hard to find a 40mm fan. could suggest you look at getting a fan adapter so you can use a bigger fan.

I used a fanmate on one to slow /quieten it down as much as possible, and it stayed pretty cool

Zalman NB cooler (flower one).. many people use that..

I removed the 40mm fan and used a slow speed 120mm positioned over the heatsink with a Zalman Fan Bracket:
