Seems to be okay then.
Quick and dirty method is just to run prime95 for a few mins and see temps/noise

I can tell you now what the noise would be, similar to my planes on War Thunder! But will do some tinkering for sure!

I would say so, board temps stayed around mid 40a for the most part, obviously I know we also need a torrent of hot air blowing over that 7900, I guess all said it's a balancing act.

Idle temps are usully 35-40, any better options than FanControl that would allow everything to be controlled effectively?

It's just set to sit at 8% (totally silent) if the CPU is under 40C, but as before may be more useful set to a board sensor, one of whiich just jumped from 42, to 10, to 105, to 40 in about 3 seconds!

Ive been wanting to swap the fans in my G500A as well. Like the OP i find them quite loud.

Im not bothered about RGB but would have liked some some of the Corsair LED fans but nowhere has them now!
