Thanks for the input everyone. About to order the 670 the majority of you seem to have suggested, let's hope it lives up to the praise it received here 
How is nvidia surround compared to eyefinity? Is it as easy to set up?
I would've been tempted had it got the same connections as the 670. Not sure how the 2x DVI & mini-HDMI would have worked out with the whole three screen thing.

If you can live with the 580 being a very fast refurbished card with a 1yr warranty@OcUK for only £200, that rubs shoulders with a stock 7950 then your doing allright saving £100!
