Hi

I'm probably one of the only people left having this chair, unfortunately the gas is dying on it and you sink throughout the day which is not great!

I'm not neccessarily looking for a gaming chair but open to the options. I definitely prefer fabric over leather/pc. I've tried the Ikea Markus and I'm not a fan.

Preference is something that is very comfortable, the arms, if there are any also need to be mounted towards the back of the chair, otherwise they hit the desk and I can't get close enough (this is another problem with the Staples chair).

I don't want to go mad money wise so around £200ish - can go more if required though. If there is somewhere I can go to try them even better.

Any recommendations?

Thanks for the help.

If the only issue with your Kashmir is the gas lift, you can buy a replacement one for peanuts. Not difficult to do. You'll need a pipe wrench for removing the gas lift from the seat, and a hammer / mallet for removing it from the wheel assembly.

It might be your best option. I've certainly never found anything as delightful to sit in as a Kashmir.

Although I will continue to mention having found this - in the hope that someone else takes the plunge and reports back on whether it could be the new Kashmir.
Microfibre fabric - check
Double stuffed seat cushion - check
It just might be!

Thanks everyone. The gas is the main issue but it is loosing it's plumpness (for want of a better word). I'll certainly take a look at them both. The Amazon chair does look really, really plump. I'll also take a look at the Sihoo.

Thanks again!
